屋子的主人是一对夫妻，留学期间相爱相伴，归国后仍如初如故。因为长期生活在快节奏的香港，居住环境也是狭小压抑，所以他们希望这个新家能宽阔通透，给家人自由的活动空间，也有山水的灵气，阳光的沐浴; 同时又带着对美和品质的追求，他们希望这是一个温暖舒适的港湾。

The owners of the house are a couple who fell in love while studying abroad and have since been together as always even after their return. Having lived in a cramped, depressing house in the fast-paced Hong Kong for years, they expect their new home to be spacious and well-ventilated, giving the family free breathing spaces that are close to Nature and let in the sunlight. They also expect the new home to be a cozy haven that meets their requirements for beauty and quality of life.

流动的风景：自然为邻 向阳而生
Flowing Scenery: Life Close to Nature and the Sun

一切回到原点，当家只是四四方方的房子时。入户道路曲折; 空间切割孤立。光线暗淡收敛; 格局凌乱小气……蜕变即刻上演，把生机与灵动引进来。

Back to the start when the home was merely a boxy house: the entry path was winding., spaces were fragmented, the natural light was poor and sparse, and the layout was messy and tight…Soon, a transformation took place, bringing in vitality and freshness.

打破原始常规束缚，拆除原有门廊，侧面的花园合二为一，更通透无阻隔。八角亭的小窗换成落地窗，更明亮。封闭厨房换成半开放空间，更开阔。收紧餐厅外的花园小径，更亲近。花木向四周斜放的姿态，更生动。

To break original conventional constraints, the existing porch was removed. Gardens on both sides were merged to allow unblocked views. Small windows in the octagonal pavilion were replaced by French windows to let in more light. The closed kitchen was turned into a semi-open, broader space. The garden trail outside the dining room was tightened to bring it closer. And the plants leaning towards all directions look more lively.

坐在餐厅，庭院里万物生长触手可及，花园里种下一棵见证房屋主人爱情的蓝花楹，曾经他们远在国外，在蓝花楹下合影，今后他们近在咫尺，在蓝花楹下守望。一边烹饪，一边享受窗外鸟语花香；一边用餐，一边在白色百褶窗帘内沐浴柔光。

The growing plants in the yard outside the dining room are within reach. A green ebony, a witness to the owners’ love story, stands in the garden. The couple once posed for photos under a green ebony while staying abroad. Now they are to spend the rest of their life together under the green ebony at home. The owners can cook while enjoying the chirps of birds and aromas of flowers outside the window. They can also enjoy meals while bathing in the mild sunlight filtered through the white pleated curtains.

躺在沙发，可以享受阳光的沐浴。连客厅的角落、电梯出口处也留下一扇玻璃窗，四季中的每一个变化，都嵌入在生活的细节里。

They can enjoy the sunshine lying in the couch. Glass windows even decorate corners of the living room and the elevator exit. Every seasonal change is embedded in the details of daily life.

我们让负二楼的天井的光溜进来，展开手臂，与光拥抱，感受阳光的本真，我们以镜面反射，奏响光之美好序曲。

We brought in natural light via the skylight on B2. Spreading their arms, the owners can embrace light and feel the authentic sunshine. We used mirrors to reflect the beautiful, changing rhythms of light through the hours.

Pleasant Living: Elegant, Refined, Soft and Intimate

一个家，除了自然赋予的活力，还有一份宁静与舒适。即使在外乘风破浪，归家，仍能做回自己，寻回儿时般放松惬意。

In addition to Nature’s vitality, a home offers. A dose of quiet and comfort. Even if one braves the wind and waves, at home, they can still be oneself, relaxed and at ease as they used to be as a child.

窗帘选取轻柔布料，风吹起纱幔，感受自然的亲昵，墙面选取肤色涂料，简洁质朴，舒适可亲，卫生间冷灰瓷砖、大理石台盆、柔软地毯，以简御繁，以寡胜多，让生活舒适、轻盈。为匆忙的生活留下一片精致净地，便能收获不一样的内心境界和生命高广

Light, soft fabrics were selected for curtains. When the gauzy drapery is blown up by the wind, you can feel the intimacy of Nature. The walls were painted into the color of skin that makes them simple, neat, and cozy. Toilets are decorated with cool gray tiles, marble basins, and soft carpets. Less is more. A minimalist approach makes life comfortable and lightsome. Such an exquisite pure space reserved for a busy life, inspires a different state of mind and gives life height and breadth.

避免尖锐攻击，采取圆弧设计。沙发桌椅、灯饰器具、墙面转角……优雅流畅的弧度能洞见一个人的喜好、性情，以及居主待人处事的态度。行走其间，时间也会放缓，静坐其中，内心会变柔软。

Sharp angles were avoided through arc designs. From couches, tables, chairs to lighting fixtures, wall corners… Elegant, smooth arcs allow insight into one’s preference and temperament, and their attitude toward people and things. When you walk around the house, time would slow down. When you sit there quietly, your heart would melt.

恢宏的格局：端庄平稳 气势天成
Open Layout: Stately and Smooth with a Natural Presence

大挑空大尺度，让空间更宽阔，各个公共空间开放互通，人生活其中，不拥堵，自由自在，也让人与人的距离更亲近
宽阔空间，让视觉变得轻盈通透，没有遮挡，采光极好，坐在屋内便能晒太阳、吹晚风。

High ceilings and large spans make the spaces roomier. Public spaces are open and connected to each other. Living in such a house, one would not feel crowded or restrained. Such a design also brings people closer to each other. Broad spaces allow lightsome, airy views. Natural lighting is excellent without objects to block the view. One can bathe in the sun or enjoy the evening wind sitting in the house.

优雅的气质：婉转娟秀 东方韵律
Elegant Touches: Subtle, Delicate Oriental Rhythm

我们也将东方式含蓄优雅延续，吧台花瓶里的植物婉转舒展，缓缓展示优雅和含蓄美。台灯微微弯曲的形象，展现曲线的柔美感。一扇玻璃门连接内外，坐在屋里，就能享屋外风景。

We also sustained the Oriental subtlety and elegance. The plant in the vase on the bar table stretches mildly. Slowly unfolding an elegant, subtle beauty. The slightly bent image of the desk lamp. Presents the soft beauty of curves. A glass door connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. Enables one to take in outside views without going outdoors.

宗白华的《美学散步》中提到:“所以一切美的光是来自心灵的源泉，没有心灵的折射是无所谓美。”因此，对于家宅来说，居住者的心境决定它如何绽放。我希望这个家有生机，四季常伴，尽享自然; 我希望这个家很舒适，优雅柔和，寄托心灵。简而言之，身归自然，心泊故乡。

Zong Baihua wrote in Strolling in Aesthetics: “So all beautiful rays of light come from the mind. There would be no beauty without the mind to reflect it.” Similarly, when it comes to a house, the occupant’s state of mind dictates how it will bloom. I want our home to be full of life and close to Nature and its seasonal changes. I want our home to be a comfortable, elegant, and gentle place for peace of mind. In a word, home should be part of Nature and a spiritual harbor.
