    So my cute little gremlin arrived and out of box he's a mixed bag. Articulation first off is very serviceable for a Core figure. I wish he had a joint in the knee, but I guess since not even The Fallen got that then there's no way a Core figure would. He can look pretty intimidating that's for sure. Love his paint apps and it's just enough to give him a weathered look.

    His two alt modes are a bit messy. They don't hold together well. An emplaced gun and a...regular gun. Not much else to say other than the emplaced mode doesn't wanna hold together that well. A bummer!

    Joints...pretty loose right out of box. That standing pose I got for him? Fell over a few seconds later. Definitely get comfortable with joint tightening.

    So historically I've always loved small Transformers. Micromasters, Legends, Scouts, new Legends, Core, etc. I really do like this guy and the looseness problems are gonna be solved once I get my preferred tightening agent on him.

    I feel like his robot mode would be a passable stand-in for Frenzy besides the size.

    Emplaced mode is just that...an emplaced gun. The holdable gun mode? Feels like it was made just for ROTB Scourge.

    So, I got three because it reminded me of Warhammer 40K Genestealers.
    In hand, not so much.

    Anyway, here's the packaging:

    Articulation isn't bad, but as stated, some of the joints are super loose. And naturally, because this is a movie SS figure, an arm and a leg fell off while just getting it from the box.

    Emplacement mode looks passable, though the legs don't seem to lock in.

    Gun mode is...well...bad.

    Three together look okay, but honestly, I'm just not enjoying it.

    Pros:
    -Decent articulation, which will probably be better with some Kiki's to tighten everything.
    -Pretty characterful.

    Cons:
    -Loose joints (left shoulder and right hip seem to be the worst on all three of mine).
    -Appendages fall off easily. This is usually a deal breaker for me.
    -Gun modes are pretty bad, specifically the rifle. As said, it probably only works well with Scourge.

    Overall, not recommended.

    I imagine this will be like the core ravage. Most people that鈥檒l want to get this is for the interactions with Scourge. Plenty will sell the two as a set so they鈥檙e not left with a core figure that isn鈥檛 the best standalone figure

    Thing is that I adore Core Ravage. That figure is actually fun to mess with and pose. I never mess with Soundwave, but have Ravage on my work desk.
    I don't plan on bothering with Scourge, so these guys will probably just end up in a storage bin after I tighten the joints.

    Nice review. Hopefully the looseness won't be a running theme.
    Also I feel like we should cut him a little slack for the alt-modes. This guy has been stated to not transform in the movie which makes me content with him transforming into "thingies"

    But not all figures that transform were ever seen transforming on screen, or even on the screen at all.
    I do respect that they made it into a Weaponizer, but the execution is pretty poor.

    I never read that they don't transform in the movie. That is very disappointing, and makes them into yet more character-less monsters.

    Ye, I also agree here aswell. I very much expect him to be nothing more than a drone which frankly is pretty disappointing.

    Definitely gonna get this guy, looks neat and looks like General Grevious as a Grevious fan I have to get this. Look forward to all the fan modes done.
    It can and honestly this can/should be used as Bayverse Rumble.

    Mine came from Amazon yesterday and I knew within seconds of removing him from the box that he would need to undergo the Slathering of the Goop.

    Today he鈥檚 much better. This figure definitely suffers when the joints are loose, but he鈥檚 pretty great when the joints are tight. He鈥檚 clearly going to end up as a Frenzy, and I鈥檒l buy that too.

    Alt modes are鈥n option that exists.

    For bot mode I like how he can tuck his secondary arms in the back when not using them.

    Overall a delightful little murdergoblin. At least once he鈥檚 undergone the Slathering.

    The Fallen has a knee joint. He doesn't have up/down flexion in his ankles, though, if that's what you're referring to.
