Warranty

ROUSH's warranty obligations for ROUSH® Parts and Accessories (individually and collectively “Part(s)”) is limited to defects in materials and workmanship, as solely determined after ROUSH’s careful inspection, for that period identified below that begins on the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period").

ROUSH® Overstock Parts, NON-ROUSH® Parts and Accessories, ROUSH®Competition Parts have no warranty.

ROUSH® Wheels (FORGED, CAST/LIQUID, AND PAINTED WHEELS) are covered for the earlier of 1 Year Or 12,000 miles from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser.

ROUSH®Exhaust Kits (part numbers: 421126, 421127, 421144, 421145, 421154, 421155, 421248, 421410, 421711, 421915, 421985) are covered by 3 years from the date of retail purchase by the original enduser purchaser. Proof of purchase required for warranty coverage.

ROUSH®Exhaust Kits (part numbers: 421834, 421837, 421920, 421921, 421922, 421923, 421985) have a lifetime warranty from the date of retail purchase by the original enduser purchaser for the original vehicle on which the product was installed. Proof of purchase required for warranty coverage.

ROUSH®Active Exhaust Kits (part numbers: 421924, 421925, 4521927, 421928) have a Lifetime Muffler warranty from the date of retail purchase except on electrical components. 3 Years from the date of retail purchase for all electrical components except the in-car center console dial/switch and OBD Dongle. 1 Year from the date of retail purchase for the in-car center console dial/switch and OBD Dongle and active valve.

ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s) are covered by 3 years or 36,000 miles from the date of original installation by the original end-user purchaser, whichever occurs first on ROUSH components only.

ROUSH®Flash Pack/ Power Pack are covered by 3 years or 36,000 miles from the date of original installation by the original end-user purchaser, whichever occurs first on ROUSH components only. Power Packs which feature a ROUSH 304SS Exhaust kit will include a Limited Lifetime warranty on the exhaust portion with the same limitations listed above.

ROUSH® Crate Engines warranty is either 1 year or 12,000 miles (whichever is reached first) for the 331 SRX and SRXE series of crate engines or 2 years or 24,000 miles (whichever is reached first) for all of the other crate engines (Non – 331 SRX and SRXE). The warranty period begins on the earlier of (a) the original in-service date of the Crate Engine as determined by the installation date shown on your service installation receipt, or (b) 90 days from the purchase date of the Crate Engine. ROUSH's warranty obligations for any ROUSH Crate Engine are limited to the original owner of the vehicle in which the Crate Engine is installed. This warranty is not transferable to a second owner and is secondary to all other warranties and manufacturers’ recall that may be in effect.

ROUSH® RETAIL PARTS have 90 days warranty from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser.

If ROUSH determines that a Part(s) is defective, and it was returned for warranty reasons within the Warranty Period, at its option ROUSH will either (1) repair the Part(s) at no charge or (2) replace the Part(s) with one that is new. A replacement Part(s) that has been installed in accordance with ROUSH’s instructions, assumes the remaining warranty of the original Part(s) replaced. If a Part(s) or any component thereof is exchanged, the replacement becomes your property and the returned Part(s) or component becomes ROUSH’s property. Part(s) or any component thereof provided by ROUSH® to you to fulfill its warranty obligation must be used in the Part(s) for which warranty service is claimed.

This warranty does not cover damage to the Part(s) caused or induced by: (a) normal wear and tear or improper installation; (II) road hazards, abuse, neglect, accidents, collisions, fire, theft, freezing, vandalism, riot, explosion, or objects striking the Part(s); (III) misusing the Part(s) such as driving over curbs, overloading, racing, or using a vehicle on or in which the Part(s) is installed as a stationary power source; (IV) altering, disassembling, tampering or modifying the Part(s) or any component on the Part(s); (V) adding non-ROUSH approved components such as headers or converters; (VI) failures, breakdowns, or damage by other parts or components or the vehicle itself; (VII) subjecting the Part(s) to excessive moisture or water or any motor vehicle fluids (e.g. oil, antifreeze, brake fluid, battery acid, etc.); (VIII) operating the Part(s) outside the permitted or intended uses or specifications described by ROUSH®; (IX) acts of God, natural disasters and other similar causes beyond the reasonable control of ROUSH®; (X) application of chemicals including, without limitation, caustic (acid based) cleaners on painted, vinyl striping or metal finished surfaces of the Part(s); (XI) failure to follow recommended maintenance of the Part(s) including without limitation and where applicable, periodic cleaning and polishing; (XII) the removal or defacing of any serial number, ROUSH® mark on the Part(s); or (XIII) surface deterioration of paint, trim, leather and appearance items on Part(s) that result from use and/or exposure to the elements or environmental conditions including, without limitation, lightning, rain, hail, windstorm, earthquake, tornado, hurricane, floods, road salt, tree sap, dust, water, stone chips, scratches, bird droppings, or normal wear and tear.
