Great Support for a great product.
This device has helped numerous times to set the exact angle on my table saw and my miter saw. I just started using my wood chisels in a more precise way and was able to get an exact angle on them also. I have had the device for 21 months (just shy of the 2year warranty) and it stopped working. I called their support line and I got a real person almost immediately. After a brief explanation of my issue the person said "no problem, throw that one away and we'll get another out for you today". And they did!I really like the Angle gauge for many things and for the excellent support.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent angle finder with strong magnetic base
Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2019
Style: Digital Angle Finder Verified Purchase
I tried both the Neoteck and the AccuMaster, both were equally functional and equally accurate after calibration. The Neoteck was more than $15 less, and I was very tempted to keep it. However, I need these devices to measure relative angles when tightening certain bolts with a torque wrench and a swivel socket, and that is where the difference became obvious. I found the magnetic base of the AccuMaster to have a far superior grip to the Neoteck, with the magnets being considerably stronger. The Neoteck performed admirably in all aspects except for its magnetic grip when compared to the AccuMaster: using a long 1/4" extension to torque some difficult to reach valve cover bolts, the AccuMaster stays wherever I place it on the extension; the Neoteck slides down to the valve cover making it impossible to read accurately.
Now, this may or may not matter to you if you are using it on flat ferro-magnetic surfaces, but clearly Calculated Industries has speced out a strong set of magnets for their product from what I can tell. Remember, the magnets in BOTH products are in the base only, not the sides. The readings invert when the unit is inverted for an easier read.
Bottom line, for my purposes the AccuMaster was the keeper for the applications I need it for.

Purchased this product to see how it compared to the "old fashion" bubble system. I have to say it is a wonderful tool. Unlike the bubble system, I find myself adjusting more often for precision due to the fact that now I have numbers, vs a bubble that most people won't care if it's a hair off (thanks to my OCD). The tool is lightweight yet feels well put together. The magnets do come in handy when trying to use both hands while working on metal surfaces. Batteries do last, as I have been using this digital level now for a few months, and the batteries are great. Great buy!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Shouldn't have bought the old-school dial angle indicator
Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2020
Style: Digital Angle Finder Verified Purchase
I purchased 2 dial angle indicators in the past, and wanted to try this one out after seeing another builder use it on YouTube. I shouldn't have bought the other dial angle indicators and went with this one first. Doesn't need re-calibration, although the instructions show you how do it.

Very easy to use, just push the button and place the angle indicator on your work piece. For me, it is setting pinion angle on my Dana 44 front axle. It has a magnet as well to hold it in place (on ferrous surfaces). To turn the unit off, press and hold the power button.

The display is backlit and very easy to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's An Inclinometer, Not A Square!
Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2022
Style: Digital Angle Finder Verified Purchase
I see reviews where people took off a star or two because when you turn it on its side it doesn't read exactly 90º. I'll try to be civil - after all, if this were a square that would be justified. However, this instrument is an inclinometer, so it has no particular angle between the base and a side. There's no reason the side of the instrument should be exactly 90º to the base. It's telling you the angle of the BASE with respect to STRAIGHT DOWN, NOT to a side! The angle between the base and a side has nothing to do with its accuracy.

To set your table saw blade exactly 90º: (1) Set it base down and facing you, onto the tabletop perpendicular to and near the left side of the blade; (2) press the 'Set 0' button (the On/Off button) momentarily (this locks in the difference between the tabletop and straight down); (3) rotate the instrument counter-clockwise and stick it to the blade. Make sure you have it flat on the blade (if the base is sitting on a tooth it will throw off your setting). (4) Adjust your blade angle to exactly 90º on the instrument. Done. Using this procedure you can set the blade to whatever angle you want - just do steps (1) through (3) and substitute the angle you want for 90º in step (4).

TL; DR: Don't use this instrument as a square. Use a square as a square.

5.0 out of 5 stars How did I ever live without this?

I purchased this to use when fabricating some machinery. Grinding, welding, cutting, mounting, milling. It's really an amazing little device with 100 different uses. I'm confident my welded plates are within 0.1deg which is more than I can say for the table they sit on. Impressive little device. It has become a well used staple in my small shop.

Relative angles are easy to set up. Zero, then move to another face. The numbers also flip vertically when you pass 90deg so you can even use it upside down. Worth every penny and more.
