Cut the plug to wire in the correct pigtail for the dodge just to fiddle with installing it for 20 minutes fighting the heim joint before realizing its too small to go onto the arm of the pump lever

This solenoid as not the same as the Cummins part and may not function as a result. The Cummins part has a swivel built into the actuating shaft, just under the boot, this allows the lower part of the actuator to articulate slightly through the sweep of the shut down lever arc. This part does not, so cannot articulate through the sweep of the shut down lever, resulting in it jamming when activated.

I Installed it. It didn't work, wouldn't shut engine off. Paid Cummins mechanic big money to make it work, they couldn't. Bought one from Cummins for $720, I installed it, runs great.
Edit- As in the headline, the vendor contacted me and offered a refund of the purchase price without me even asking. I would be happy to use them for other purchases. However I wouldn't use this solenoid if you have an 8.3, it probably does work on a 5.9.
