Last camera I tried was the Digoo DG-M1Q and the Dafang Xiaofang 1s.
Both have their issues. Where the Digoo runs stable and got great picture, but can’t be addressed by HA but only through the chinese cloud interface, the Dafang got hacked firmware, but is unstable as hell. Runs for minutes, then crashes.
Made 3d printed adapters to mount to my printer, just to find out that both won’t make it.
So please, if someone got an idea what brand to use and works STABLE and EASILY (ootb or with hacked firmware) together with HA, please let me know!

I have been PTZ cameras that I have bought from aliexpress.com using the ONVIF integration. I havent faced any issues till now with them and have all the PTZ controls. This is for surveillance system of my house.
With my 3d printer I have been using my old webcam with octoprint running klipper firmware. Its really stable with lots of additional perks like AI spigguttie monitoring and all. If you havent tried that route please, try it.
In the latest news, you can now use your android phone to run octoprint and use the camera in the phone to monitor print. Octoprint is compatible with HA through many ways.

I don’t use Octoprint as I got a Duet Wifi Board. It got webcam integration as well.
And an Android phone mounted on the printer? Not sure this would look good. At least to me But thanks for the ideas.
If someone knows a good model he can suggest please post a link here.

They are directly accesible by IP and may work out well. Web accessible. $49USD (sorry I think price increase to $67)
Dome cam may be good for you since position can be manually adjusted with no tools

Thanks @tmjpugh. Good to know that Amcrest cameras are working fine! I will see if they got some down sizes models as well. PTZ and outdoor is not needed, and having to pay for it makes no sense. I’m looking for something small. Already thought about ESP32-Cam as I got some laying around here.

Maybe look at used models as well. I purchase many brand IP cam and Amcrest has best web interface (bonus…it’s in English)
It is rebranded Duhua but i never use duhua and cannot confirm how it’s interface compares. Sadly I think price increase due to supply issues. I’ve bouught these multiple time in past 1.5yr and suddenly I notice this price up.

Prices are crazy all over the place now. Wyze Cam seems impossible to find outside of Amazon US, which I can’t buy from. Not on Aliexpress, not ebay, not banggood.
And some other cameras are extremly expensive now as well.
But thanks for the ideas.
